For the clearest facial detail, we recommend booking between 26 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage your baby has developed soft, rounded features but still has enough room to move and pose. Earlier scans are wonderful for reassurance, and our team is happy to advise on timing for your specific situation.
PeekABaby sessions use the same well-established ultrasound technology used in medical imaging, performed by registered sonographers. We follow ALARA — 'as low as reasonably achievable' — principles, keeping every session gentle and non-diagnostic. Keepsake scans are a joyful complement to, never a replacement for, the prenatal care provided by your doctor or midwife.
It depends on your package. A Heartbeat Glimpse runs about 15 minutes, the Treasured 4D session around 35 minutes, and the Signature HD 5D experience up to 50 minutes. We never rush — your studio suite is yours for the full booked time.
Absolutely, and we hope you do! Our studio suites are designed for shared moments, with comfortable seating for partners, grandparents and excited siblings. Far-away loved ones can also join your session by live video on request.
Drink plenty of water in the days before your appointment and stay well hydrated — it helps us capture clearer images. Wear comfortable two-piece clothing so your bump is easy to access, and arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy the moment.
Every package includes digital photographs delivered to you, and most include HD printed images and a video clip. Add-ons such as a recorded-heartbeat plush animal and extra print sets are available to make the memory even more special.
Yes — PeekABaby gift certificates are a heartfelt baby-shower present and can be purchased for any package or dollar amount. Contact our team and we'll arrange one for you.
Life with a baby on the way is unpredictable, and we understand. Appointments can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Just call us or reply to your confirmation message.
